ALL ABOUT HORSES!

I have been training and rehabbing rescue horses for many years teaching them as they would teach each other with confidence and non-verbal body language. This is how they communicate.

It has been interesting teaching people to get out of their human communication and communicate with the horse in the horses language. In the process the humans learn to get on the “frequency” of whom they are dealing. For many it has been a shock that each species has their own language and that even us humans all communicate in different ways.

Horse sense taught me a lot about communicating with all kinds of people. Earlier in my life I was in radio in Jacksonville, FL as a copywriter, announcer and then assistant manager. From there I spent 11 years in Nashville as television news headline announcer, writer, director/producer for 2 television stations. Then I got into the music video business as producer/director.

Family brought me back to the Atlanta area where I started and ran a successful home improvement company in Atlanta. I had always taught horsemanship at other barns but in 2005 I moved to the Waleska, GA area and was able to start building my own herd for lessons, camps, and horse birthday parties. The first process was to build an arena, barns and then, the fun part,…trails!

Over the years my horse clients would ask me about getting their own horse and moving to land to accommodate the new addition to their family. Becoming a realtor was a natural and I chose Berkshire Hathaway because of their stringent training, support and prestigious brand.

I love serving my clients with the best guidance possible and being able to communicate with each of them on their frequency.
